Vegas Insider Website, Which Features Expert Advice on Sports Betting, is Now up and Running

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) September 03, 2012

Top Vegas insider Danny Biancullo has just launched his brand new website called TheVegasInsiders.com. The new site is already getting a lot of attention from local media; for example, the Las Vegas television site 8Newsnow.com recently did a feature on what the site has to offer.

In addition to promoting TheVegasInsiders.com, Biancullo, who is known as Danny B in the sports handicapping industry, is also answering questions about a recent Bloomberg news article that detailed how a judge decreed that former NBA Referee Tim Donaghy is no longer allowed to work for Biancullos radio show.

The Judge made a decision and we must live with it, Danny B noted, adding that Donaghy will be welcomed back to the show once his terms of probation are completed in early November of this year.

This will be just in time for basketball season when Tim’s expertise will be valued most for his advice on basketball handicapping.

Biancullo is also up-front about a portion of the Bloomberg report that mentions his past federal conviction

Yes, I did get in trouble back in 2004 for dealing with off shore casinos, he said.

I never received a commission from any casino. The only thing I did wrong was referred my clients to casinos that were solid and would pay our clients for their winnings. I got in trouble for that and served a term of 6 months house arrest.”

Danny B is now focusing his attention on his new website, which he said is ideal for sports bettors who are looking for NFL Expert Picks, College Football totals, Basketball Blow-Outs or Baseball winners. The site offers three membership packages: a one-day membership for $ 35, a seven-day membership for $ 199 or a 30-day package for $ 499.

Danny B, who has been in the sports betting industry since 1983, has worked hard to assemble the finest sports handicappers and insiders all on one site. He and his staff understand how hard it is to beat the College Football or NFL lines alone, and advise that playing the percentages is the way to do it.

Because NFL odds can also be difficult to predict, Danny B is ready to give out Week 1 previews as well as odds on the upcoming NFL games. People who call the toll free number listed on the home page of the website will receive five free tips on what they should do this year when betting on their NFL picks against the NFL odds.

Do head impacts increase with player age? A new youth Football study in Canada to use Shockbox helmet sensors to gather the data.

Ottawa, Ontario (PRWEB) June 25, 2013

Head injuries in youth and high school football pose daunting challenges; ones that sensational media coverage has many parents believing are insurmountable. Add in a culture resistant to change, too many coaches still teaching players to block and tackle using their heads, players unwilling to report concussions, and a sport in which, despite new laws, new technology and new tests, concussion identification and management remains haphazard, and parents are left wondering what can be done to improve safety.

This season, Shockbox helmet sensors will be used to gather head impact exposure data from 100 youth football players in the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) as part of educating parents and demonstrating a safer way of managing head impacts.

Now, with Football season starting up, NCAFA will be using Shockbox helmet sensors on players across each age group from Tyke (8-10 year old) to Midget (17-19) in 5 Ottawa area teams. NCAFA which implemented the new Football Canada Safe Contact program this year, will be using the sensors to gather data to assess player head impact exposure by age, position, weight and other factors as part of a wider effort to identify tackle methods that reduce head contact and maintain the competitive nature of the sport, whilst reducing potential injuries.

Danny Crossman, CEO of Impakt Protective, the developers of the Shockbox Helmet Sensor used in previous sports research studies. “The sensor provides team medical staff with an immediate reference point to begin preventative measures in the form of coaching correction, reduced exposure levels, game time recovery and potential concussion assessment.” says Crossman.

NCAFA President Stephen Dean says “NCAFA is excited to be a part of this groundbreaking study and partnering with Impakt to spread the word about head impact and the Shockbox Helmet Sensors. It essentially gives parents, trainers, coaches and team doctors a set of electronic eyes with which to watch out for impacts that may cause concussions that might otherwise go undetected. This is either because the signs were too subtle to be seen by officials, coaches, athletic trainers, team doctors or parents on the sports sideline, or because the player, out of a desire to stay in the game, failed to report experiencing concussion symptoms such as headache or dizziness that warrant, at the very least, further evaluation,” said Dean.

The data from this study will add to work currently underway by Saskatoon Minor Football (part of Football Saskatchewan) using Shockbox helmet sensors and recent Shockbox helmet sensor research conducted by POP Warner Football by Chief Medical Officer Dr Julian Bailes. The Fall 2012 POP Warner research, then the largest youth football head impact study with 22 players is due for publication in the Journal of Neurosurgery later this year and found that more impacts occur in games rather than practices, likely due to the recent rule changes by Dr Bailes concerning head contact.

About NCAFA

NCAFA has been the leader in providing quality amateur football in the Ottawa-Gatineau area since 1955. The League has grown from four teams playing tackle football in the fall to 17 Clubs and over 60 teams ,in Eastern Ontario and West Quebec ,offering a number of program areas; Spring and Fall Tackle, Girls Touch, Flag and Cheer. While each Club has a varying array of offerings, the total number of participants, coaches and volunteers exceeds 4,000 people and another 1,000 indirectly. The largest program area is Fall Tackle, wherein each club fields from 1 to 5 teams ranging from Mite to Midget, ages 5-19. The NCAFA is a proud member of the Ontario Football Alliance and Football Canada and in its association with Football Quebec.

American Sleep And Breathing Academy, Pro Player Health Alliance and The Living Heart Foundation Find Ways to Improve the Overall Health of People Across North America

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 17, 2013

As news of professional sports has been consumed by talks of concussions, sleep apnea has cleverly flew under the radar. While concussions are serious health issues, the deadly sleep disorder known as sleep apnea continues to cause just as dangerous health risks to players. Although players are more at risk to what’s called the “Silent Killer”, individuals all over the world are prone to developing it whether they play sports, are over weight or snore; or not. David Gergen, President of Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA), has made it his mission to partner with the top dentists, medical doctors, and organizations in the world in order to save the lives of his fellow people.

Recently, he met with arguably the best Arizona Cardinals Receiver of all time, Roy Green, and Jeanette Robins who is the executive director for the medical side of the American Sleep And Breathing Academy(ASBA). As executive director for the dental division of the academy, David and Jeanette have worked closely to make one of the premiere duos in the industry; sharing each others networking, wisdom and experience.

While sleep apnea itself won’t cause death, it will cause serious issues in other areas of the body. Risks include heart complications, obesity or weight gain, lack of energy, cancer due to lowered oxygen levels in the body, diabetes and many more health problems all throughout the body. This is why PPHA has teamed up and followed the same model as the Living Heart Foundation as well as the Retired Players Association.

The Living Heart Foundation, supported by Covidien, recently launched the HOPE (Heart, Obesity, Prevention & Education) program for former NFL Players. It is an obesity management awareness program aimed at healthy lifestyles and weight management for retired professional football players. Unfortunately many professional athletes are forgotten as fans move their attention to the newest stars. Organizations like PPHA and Living Heart Foundation care for those retired players and ultimately hope for the general public to follow in their footsteps to get screened and treated.

In addition to hosting public awareness events across the country, David Gergen and PPHA will be the official screening company for sleep apnea at the Super Bowl. Also doing screenings for retired players is Carl Eller and the Retired Players Association, who have made plans to hold ten screenings a year with Pro Player Health Alliance. Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 22, 2013

The two greatest Arizona Cardinals WR of all time, Larry Fitzgerald and Roy Green, will be holding a golf tournament in Arizona the weekend of May 16, 2014 that will be the official tournament for the annual seminar held by the dental wing of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy. David Gergen, President of Pro Player Health Alliance (PPHA) and Executive Director of the Dental Wing, has been working diligently with Roy Green and Jeanette Robins to plan the tournament. Jeanette, Executive Director of the Medical Division in the academy, has offered her full support to the task of planning one of the biggest golf tournaments of the year.

The tournament will feature some of sports’ greatest athletes including the the two greatest Arizona Cardinals receivers of all time, Roy Green and Larry Fitzgerald. Roy has also asked his good friend Charles Barkley to golf in the tournament. Because of the work Pro Player Health Alliance has done to treat current/former professional athletes for sleep apnea and other health complications, the company will be co-sponsoring this event with Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab

Mr. Gergen relied on only his most trusting medical and dental partners to support him, as well as the academy, and ultimately rewarded those who attended the most recent by making them founding members of the Dental Division. He plans to hold an annual seminar for those members a week before Memorial Day, which can attract over 500 of the top dentists in the nation. Attendees will acquire CEU’s, membership into the academy and have the opportunity to dine with the athletes in the tournament.

Larry Fitzgerald and Roy Green Give Ongoing Support to Phoenix Based Company, Pro Player Health Alliance

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 24, 2013

Sleep disorders act no differently towards superstar athletes as they do with any other human being. Roy Green has experienced two strokes and two heart attacks due largely in part to sleep apnea. Roy said, “If I had met David Gergen years ago, I wouldn’t have had to experience having a heart attack, let alone two heart attacks and strokes. I am extremely grateful for what he’s done for me and my former teammates and I’m glad to be a part of spreading awareness on sleep apnea so others don’t have to to go through what I did.” Since David Gergen, President of Pro Player Health Alliance, has launched his “Tackling Sleep Apnea” campaign he has gotten over 160 former professional athletes treated by the best doctors in the country.

Roy chooses to wear an oral appliance manufactured by Gergen’s Orthodontic Lab as his solution to sleep apnea, although that isn’t the only option. As a good friend and fellow athlete, he reached out to Larry Fitzgerald who he later found out his father suffered from sleep apnea.

While the majority of individuals know a loved one that has sleep apnea or have it themselves, they are unaware of the serious harmful effects caused by letting it go untreated. This is why Larry and Roy are on board with Pro Player Health Alliance to spread the word on symptoms and where they can go to get treated.

One way they are doing their part is by holding a golf tournament in Arizona the weekend of May 16, 2014 that will be the official tournament for the annual seminar held by the dental wing of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy (ASBA). The tournament will feature some of sports’ greatest athletes including the likes of Charles Barkley. Funds raised from this event will go to the ASBA, which is a nonprofit organization.
